Vermin Shooting Procedure
Before any shooting takes place, we perform a comprehensive site survey to ensure all safety and legal requirements are met. For private land we require the owner/managers permission, or for public land we may be required to lodge a populous place permit with Victoria Police depending on the site. We can also shoot on unreserved Crown land and Victorian State Forest.
Shooting is a humane, quick way to cull pest animals. Poison bait and gassing is another option however this can be slow and painful for the animals. Dead carcasses also usually remain in burroughs and hides which rot and stink over time. By shooting the vermin, they die instantly and we can remove the carcass from the site immediately.
For rabbit and foxes shooting, we use small calibre .22LR rifles with sub-sonic ammunition. These are low noise guns and in most cases neighbours won't even know we are there.

Fully Licenced
007 Reload are fully licenced by Victoria Police and Department of Sustainability and Environment as professional shooters and hunters. There are many shooters in Victoria, but very few have successfully obtained a category C longarm licence with a vermin control endorsement. The effort required for category C provides further evidence of the dedication that 007 Reload shooters have for our profession. This allows us to lodge a populous place shooting permit should the shoot site be located in a public area, such as golf courses or sports arenas.
